General washing information

We attach great importance to high-quality materials that have been produced according to the highest ecological and socially acceptable standards. That's why we print, here in Hanover, according to our lillestoff organic and fair promise.

Until we add a new fabric quality to our range, it can sometimes take quite a long time, because we have to be 100% convinced.

Our designs are subjected to extensive washing tests each time and our quality assurance department prepares a washing protocol for each design. Because we want you to be completely satisfied with our fabrics even after washing.

Therefore you will find a washing recommendation for each of our fabrics in the article description.

Basically, the following applies to all our fabrics: for a long lasting good quality, please do not tumble dry the fabrics and always wash them with similar colours.

Please do not use fabric softener for the sake of the fabric and the environment. If you want your laundry to be especially soft, you can add a tablespoon of vinegar to the washing powder.
