Kristin Tessen
Greetings from Berlin, where I live and work as a freelance watercolor artist and pattern designer. My focus is on floral motifs, animals, and food illustrations, which I primarily create using watercolors. Many of my illustrations also adorn magazine covers, packaging, and home textiles, such as bed linen. In addition to my work as a pattern designer, I also love teaching painting classes (both online and offline), have published instructional books, and am booked for live painting events and painting demonstrations. When I'm not painting, I love to cook or spend time outdoors in nature. I also love movies, especially those from the 1920s to 1960s, and enjoy drawing inspiration from them.
