Andrea Liesert
Hey, I'm Andrea Liesert, a fashion and surface pattern designer from Aachen. I started out as a fashion designer in a permanent position, where I was responsible for a children's collection. In 2001, I founded the design studio “MOJECT” together with my best friend and colleague Christine Sweers. During my very special time as part of the moject design office, I quickly developed a passion for illustration and surface pattern design. Since 2017, I have been focusing on this passion and designing fabric designs, embroidery, and print motifs for clothing, home textiles, and stationery in my own studio. Inspired by art, nature, and life, here and elsewhere, I create designs that tell stories of extraordinary and beautiful sea creatures, wild animals in the jungle and savannah, but also of life in domestic gardens. This is how I dream myself away on journeys through time and around the world.
