This versatile fabric panel is an Advent calendar, patchwork fabric and Jelly Roll alternative all in one. 12 different fabric designs are arranged in 16.66 cm wide strips, offering plenty of possibilities for creative sewing projects.
The panel is especially versatile as an alternative to a classic Jelly Roll: If you cut the strips lengthwise into three pieces you can create narrower fabric strips that are perfect for strip quilts, patchwork blankets, cushions and many other projects. Two panels provide an amount of fabric comparable to a standard Jelly Roll.
The strips are also ideal for hexagon patchwork and English Paper Piecing (EPP). They can easily be cut into hexagons or other patchwork shapes.
A special detail is the numbering from 1 to 24, which runs along both sides of the panel like a selvedge. The numbers can be used to create a classic handmade Advent calendar or incorporated into other projects as a border, trim or decorative element.
