Our Designers

Since childhood I have done nothing but draw. I am a mother of three children and live with my family in the Netherlands . I love to be creative: Sewing, painting, drawing, crafting and making music. On the weekends I like to go camping in the forest. I love campfires. I also regularly go boating in the Dutch polders with my family and friends.
Hello, I am Pamela! After studying communication design in Darmstadt, I discovered my love for sewing through my childre n. Soon I dreamed of designing my own fabrics and became brave enough to write to Lillestoff. This collaboration resulted in a fruitful partnership. My passion is mainly children's fabrics, but in recent years I have also focused on women's fabrics.
I'm Katrin and I've been making designs for Lillestoff under the name "et voilà" since 2017. I came to this through my g reat hobby: sewing. When I lived on a sailboat for a sabbatical year and sewed a lot, I first became a sample seamstress and later (by gushing and sharing design ideas) also a designer. Since then I love to turn my colorful ideas into designs.
My work is inspired by nature. I love it when designs tell a story and so each pattern is lovingly hand drawn and illust rated with great detail. I draw everything by hand with a fine gel pen and colorize digitally. It is always special to me to see my drawings printed as fabric and then sewn. It's almost as if the illustration comes to life.
I live and work on the outskirts of Vienna in a log cabin. Growing up in my parents' bookbindery, surrounded by leather, paper and lead type, design runs like a thread through my life. As a multidisciplinary designer, I have been working intensively with craft, type, illustration and design for more than 30 years.
Hello! I am Sandra Paradiek, born in Oldenburg. I live and love in Hannover. I am a diploma designer and studied design at HAWK Hildesheim. I work as a freelance designer and calligrapher. My passion is teaching hand-lettering courses, and I truly enjoy sharing this creative form of expression with wonderful people :) Become a part of my Miss Patty world; I look forward to having you!
I live with my husband and my poodle in Utrecht in the Netherlands. We have two grown up daughters. I have many years of experience with pattern design for various products (from stationery and bed covers to children's fashion and beachwear) and companies such as department stores, retail stores and children's brands. I love retro illustrations, nature and all animals (except spiders) and enjoy creating floral patterns or designs with cute and fun (but not too cute) animals.
The artist Sebastian Maria Otto has been working on his unique style for more than 15 years. His extraordinary, abstract portraits and the expressive colors emphasize his distinctive artwork.
Hey, my name is Amelie and I'm 26 years old. I live in the beautiful Bavarian Forest. I am the mother of a very dear lit tle rascal who, relatively unwillingly, has to serve as a model for my sewing projects. I'm a very creative person and I really enjoy doing all sorts of things myself. I started sewing as a child and am always looking for new challenges and ideas. A friend told me about the lillestoff competition. I've had the thought of learning to draw digitally for a long time, but with the competition I finally have a real reason to tackle this project.
Hi, I'm Amy Emms, called Ames, a mom of 3 little boys with whom I live in Yorkshire, England. When my husband and I said yes to each other, I made my own wedding dress and decorations and hand embroidered all the invitations - for the birth of my eldest son, I decided to sew clothes for him too. That's why I just started my own children's clothing brand and started designing fabrics myself. Having never been exposed to image editing programs before, this was a real learning journey for me. Despite - or because of - that, drawing is like therapy for me, since I'm bipolar and have ADHD. My creativity is limitless!
Stylistically, I am probably a chameleon. However, my patterns often contain strong graphic components. Although I am a rational person, I try to work intuitively and let heart and hand decide. The crucial thing is that the design is fun, versatile and durable. I've always felt like I had a pen in one hand and scissors in the other. Over time, the tools have changed, but the passion has not. After studying design and working in fashion for many years, I decided to work more freely again. Since then I have been designing patterns and illustrations for textiles, wallpaper and home decor.
Hello, my name is Nina and I am ... drawing behind Benito and Maus Illustrations. I was born in Salzburg and live in Vie nna with my husband and two children. Motif-wise, I'm pretty open to everything. Probably the attribute "cute" fits my style best. I recently started my own label and illustrate children's books, greeting cards, baby letters, milestone cards and take on various commissions. My biggest source of inspiration are my children, so my label is also named after their pet names and behind many characters and images are my children themselves or their idea. So also with my designs.
Hi, I'm Cindy and I've been drawing for as long as I can remember. I am a design student and am about to graduate. Origi nally I come from the wonderful north, however, I do not live there currently, but am 100% northern light at heart . My great passion is drawing portraits of both humans and animals. In recent years, however, I have also found pleasure in a less realistic style. Especially I love everything that has to do with monsters and robots. In all these years I have tried many different styles and techniques and always try new things and am happy to share my journey with you. I hope you enjoy my designs.
My name is Dagmar (Schmidt), and I design patterns and illustrations for fabrics, wallpapers, and other products under t he label "Dalightdesign." Pattern design has been my great passion for many years, and I pursue it as a side job. I live in the heart of Frankfurt, and when I'm not designing, you can often find me enjoying a cup of green tea and, of course, cake at one of the lovely cafes in Frankfurt. My favorite themes include stylized animals, people, nature, and architecture. I enjoy adding small, witty details that bring a smile and invite further exploration. I sell and license my designs and illustrations online and offline. It brings me joy every time I see photos of sewing projects using my patterns.
Hello, my name is Lucía Sanguinetti-Jonescheit and I work as a fashion and textile designer under the name DEINKI. Even as a child I sewed clothes for myself with my mother. My father worked in a print shop, so colors and patterns have always been a part of my life. After successfully graduating as a fashion designer in Buenos Aires, I have been working in the fashion and textile industry since 2012. My goal is to inspire people with colorful, playful and nostalgic patterns and make their lives more beautiful. Surrounded by forests in the Hamburg area, I get inspired by the wonderful nature every day.
I am Bernadette. I live with my husband and my two children in the south of Germany. Creative work has accompanied me al l my life and helps me to sort myself out and take a deep breath. In 2018, I started illustrating again after rarely finding time for it the years before. Since then, the thought has spread in me to make myself independent with my illustrations. That's why I am very happy that you can now find my motifs in the Lillestoff store. Most of all I love to illustrate flowers and cute animal motifs with humorous details. The biggest inspiration for my work are my kids, who always have their heads full of crazy ideas and colorful worlds that I love to get involved in.
I am a graphic designer and create my fabric patterns from hand painted watercolors as well as digitally. If you take t ime to observe, you discover so many great motifs in nature. That's why I love taking pictures of individual leaves, flowers, different textures. The fabrics designed from them should be a lot of fun to sew and wear and be versatile. Creativity has always been part of my life, I had a lot of fun designing as a child. My curiosity made me try numerous creative techniques over the years, whether painting, personalize jewelry from photo, calligraphy, etc.
Hi, I'm Sandra. This year I'll be 49 years old, so it feels like 20. I live in Kempen on the Lower Rhine with my 3 outra geously cute kitties. I discovered my love for fabric patterns 10 years ago while working as a curative education nurse. I like it colourful, wild and crazy and carry the 70s with its cheerful colors and shapes in my heart. I make lampshades out of fabrics I have a huge crush on. At some point I was looking for a new fabric for a lampshade and then began to design fabric patterns myself under the name "fummelhummel".
Hello, my name is Alina and I live with my husband Stev and my daughter Kim in Eisenach. I came to sewing through the lo ve for my daughter. Since I have always been creative and like to create my own things, I started to create designs for my daughter. I don't have a defined style (yet), but always let my creative moments guide me. Although I am a rather structured person, living with my family has shown me that not everything can always be planned and that having 'motley dough in your head' is simply liberating and wonderful! I look forward to making your life a little more cheerful and colorful with new designs.
Hi, I am Lisa creative head of Lisa Diener Design, married, mom of 2 children and live with my family and cat Findus nea r Chemnitz. For over 10 years I am a designer and since 2020 self-employed with my own small label. I create hand-painted pattern designs and illustrations for various products. My heart beats especially for beautiful fabric designs, because I love to sit at the sewing machine and conjure up very individual pieces. When creating my designs I like to experiment, try out new design techniques and let myself be inspired by art, nature and new places.
I'm Susanne, freelance graphic designer and illustrator for almost 25 years. I prefer to draw cute, positive motifs with the themes of animals and nature. I love animals more than anything, I'm vegan and pigs are my absolute favorite animals. I have two cute mini pigs as pets, so it didn't take me long to think of a name for my fabric swatch label. «Pretty Little Pigs» is my label for beautiful, cheerful fabric patterns.
Hi, my name is Anna Weber and I come from the beautiful Upper Bavarian district of Fürstenfeldbruck, about 20 kilometers west of Munich. As the daughter of a seamstress, I have always been fascinated by beautiful fabrics - so early on I searched for the most beautiful treasures in my mother's piles of fabric in the attic and picked them out. Thanks to my children, this love of fabrics later developed into a true passion and I began to sew everything myself, from patchwork quilts to bloomers and dirndls. With the founding of my small business "Sanktwerk" in 2021, I finally also started to design the fabrics for my products myself.
I prefer to paint with watercolors, and as a motif I prefer everything that has to do with the sea, and always brightly colored. I have lived on the west coast of Ireland since 2005. If I don't have a brush in my hand, I have my camera.
My name is Meabh De Cleir from Countie Clare on the River Shannon in the West of Ireland. However, as a young woman I al so lived in Munich for some time and feel very connected to Germany. I am a proud mom of 5 children with whom I have been drawing and crafting for 20 years. About a year ago I started designing fabrics myself. However, the love for scribbling and drawing has accompanied me all my life. Drawing, crafting, knitting, crocheting, sewing and pottery are simply part of my life. In addition, sewing has been in my family for generations. My mother sewed, my grandmother did, so did her mother and so on and so forth. Today I run a small children's clothing business and design children's fabrics.
My name is Denise and I live with my husband and our two children in the north of Berlin, where I work independently as a social pedagogue and give baby classes. Sewing has been a passion of mine for many years. When I couldn't teach classes during the lockdown and homeschooling with my kids and sewing masks were part of everyday life, I needed a creative alternative to sewing. At first it was just drawing on my tablet. Then it got to the point where I wanted to know how to draw continuous patterns for fabric, and then came the necessary push from a friend that got me to publish my treasures.
Hello, I am Susanne! As far as I can remember, I have always had a pen in my hand. My brother says he remembers me on ly when I was drawing. So, it was clear from a very young age where my professional path would lead. During my art studies, it quickly became evident that I am not meant for serious and sad paintings; instead, I find great joy in bringing immense happiness to little people with my pictures. For several years now, I have been working as a freelance illustrator and author. Perhaps some of you know my "Schneckbert" books. In 2012, I started sewing myself and particularly enjoyed dressing my baby in Lillestoff fabrics. A big dream emerged: to have my illustrations as Lillestoff designs. And now, this dream is coming true! You can't imagine how excited I am to discover the first child wearing my design!
